    Prep

    Remove diced beef from packaging and allow to rest for 10 minutes at room temperature before cooking. Heat a little oil in a large pan and add the pieces of beef. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until browned all over, then transfer to a casserole dish and oven cook at 350°F, Gas 4, 180°C for a further 2 and a half hours. Or for the length of time declared in your recipe.
